Professional visits from travel and tourism influencers and journalists to the destination are resumed.
In March, the Tourist Board will organise four fam trips, three press trips and two blog trips, which will bring thirty-five travel agents, journalists and digital content creators from Spain, the US and other countries to the Girona region.
As part of the fam (familiarisation) trips, two trips were organised for golf operators from South Korea and also Switzerland, which in total brought fifteen specialised agents to the destination. Also of note was the visit by eight American travel agents from the luxury tour operator Valesa Cultural and two directors of the luxury cruise company StarClippers to get to know the ports of Roses and Palamós.
As for press tours, of particular note is the visit to the destination of five journalists and content creators from Czech travel portals and media such as Easy Peasy Travels, Pelipecky.cz, Lui.cz and Styl coinciding with the launch of the flight connecting the city of Ostrava in the Czech Republic with Girona-Costa Brava. Meanwhile, the French women's lifestyle magazines Sundly and Marie Claire took a trip to explore the region's cultural offerings and high-end experiences.
Lastly, two content creators specialising in travel and cultural proposals from @femmesapiens and the blog FreibuterReisen visited the destination. The former visited the Ripollès and Garrotxa regions to generate content about the local cultural offering. The latter generated content about cultural spaces in Girona aimed at the German market.
