Lloret de Mar tourist restructuring plan

The Catalan Government, Lloret de Mar Town Council, Girona Provincial Council’s Tourist Board and Mesa Empresarial sign the agreement to fund the tourist restructuring of the municipality.

During the 2017-2019 three-year period, the administrations will invest 3.7 million euros to be able to execute some of the activities envisaged in the Operational Plan for the renewal of Lloret de Mar, such as the improvement and completion of the coastal paths, a commercial promotion plan, and activities linked to the sports city. Lloret de Mar entrepreneurs have also guaranteed to invest 20 million euros a year up until 2019, to improve the hotel, catering and leisure offer. The Lloret de Mar Operational Plan is part of the first project to restructure mature destinations that is being set up in Catalonia and includes 29 proposals for activities in the areas of municipal mobility, renewal and new investments in accommodation and infrastructures, and better services. It also includes the completion of the coastal paths and a plan to boost commerce, as well as new proposals for leisure, culture and entertainment.
