The 2013-2014 professional training programme gets under way with online workshops

In November the 360º Tourism training programme of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board resumed its activity with several sessions scheduled between November 2013 and June 2014, part of its ongoing efforts to foster the continuous training of professionals in the sector. In November two workshops were held, aimed at helping tourism companies and organisations in the Girona area to optimise and improve their online positioning and presence. The workshops were attended by 78 tourism professionals.

Two new workshops are scheduled for December:

Wednesday, 4th December: "Online advertising applied to the tourism sector", led by Montse Peñarroya, CEO of Quadrant Alfa research and training in digital marketing.

Wednesday, 18th December: "Introduction to Jewish tourism; market trends", in Cerdanya. Session focusing on the Israeli market. In the first part of the session an Israeli tour operator will explain the specific needs and tastes of Israeli tourists, while in the second part the tourism trends of this market will be examined.

Register for workshops at www.costabrava.org/jornades. Places are limited (40 people per workshop) and registration for each workshop costs 55 euros (38 euros per workshop for members of the product marketing clubs of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board).
