Support for projects and destinations

Collaboration with cultural and sports events to promote the Costa Brava

The Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees hosts a wide variety of tourism-related projects and events that the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board helps to promote. In terms of festivals, the organisation has provided support to several high-profile events, including the media presentation of the 6th International Circ Elefant d’Or Festival in Figueres and the first edition of the VEUS vocal festival in Olot, as well as participation in the Girona Film Festival ceremony. In terms of sports, the Board also presented the first edition of the Sea Otter Europa Costa Brava-Girona Bike Show, which will be celebrated in Girona in June 2017. Moreover, the Calonge-Sant Antoni City Council announced that the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board was the winner of its Passion Award, in recognition of the Board’s 40 years of work promoting tourism in the region of Girona.
