Presence at the Jazzaldia Festival in San Sebastian
From 21st to 25th July the Costa Brava and the Pirineu de Girona were promoted at the San Sebastian Jazz Festival.

For the second year running the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona destinations were featured and promoted at the Jazzaldia Festival in San Sebastian among the Basque public and visitors to Europe’s sixth most important jazz festival.
The large number of visitors to the festival offered an excellent opportunity to promote Catalonia as a tourist destination. The initiative was carried out by the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona, promoting the tourism services and products of the counties of Girona, Barcelona Provincial Council and the Patronat de Turisme of Lleida Provincial Council.
The Basque public is traditionally considered knowledgeable about the counties of Girona and shows particular interest in outdoor activities and those that offer direct contact with nature, such as hiking, cycle touring and cultural visits. Furthermore, the Girona area receives visitors from the Basque region all year round who appreciate the area’s rich and varied cuisine.
