The Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees digital image archive is created for promotional and informative purposes

The Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees digital image archive (http://fotos.costabrava.org) provides free photographs of Girona’s main tourist attractions and activities, establishments, places and landscapes to tourism promoters, tour operators, travel agents, and the media for promotional and communication use. The new platform offers two hundred photographs in high resolution for printing and low resolution for websites, which will be periodically expanded and renewed with images from the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board’s image archive, which currently boasts over ten thousand of its own and licenced photos. Each photograph comes with a series of details, including the photographer, town, region, category and a brief description. Users must register to receive log-in information in order to download photos from the archive. Feedback can also be sent through a form on the website.
