15 top bloggers in the field of tourism are participating in a powerful promotional initiative that will generate interesting content in social media.

At Fitur, the Patronat de Turisme was able to put together collaborative projects to implement an extremely interesting promotional initiative scheduled for this spring, consisting of a trip by international bloggers, who will come to blog about tourism trips and destinations.

From 3rd to 10th May, the Patronat de Turisme will implement a joint promotional, marketing and communication initiative with the clear goal of making the destination known to millions of tourists, visitors or travellers, and that of increasing the volume of business in the tourism sector.

The initiative involves organising a trip designed to show the destination to an influential group of top international bloggers (between 12 and 15 bloggers from the social media tourism sector). They will visit and experience various destinations of the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona over the course of six days, generating interesting content in the social media with which they work. This kind of initiative is very similar to a press trip, with the difference that its credibility and scope is far greater. At the same time, it will serve to raise the profile of the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona.

One of the participants in the trip is the number 1 travel blogger, the American JD Andrews, who runs the earthXplorer travel site.

Through this initiative, the Patronat de Turisme is continuing to innovate in the promotion of the tourism products of the Costa Brava and the Pirineu de Girona in its priority markets and globally.
