Catalonia-Russia Business Forum

Eight organisations and companies from the Girona tourism sector participate in the business exchange forum between Catalan and Russian companies.

On 31^st October the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona participated in the business exchange forum between Catalonia and Russia that took place in Moscow, with a dedicated space where it held work meetings with the main Russian tour operators, including Natalie Tours, Tez Tours, Coral Travel and Pegas, along with Transaero Airlines. The aim of the event was to continue to market the tourism products of the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona destination to the main wholesale agencies of the Russian Federation.

Furthermore, on 1^st November, as part of the Forum, the Tourism Workshop organised by the Catalan Tourism Agency took place, in which eight tourism organisations and companies from the Girona area, namely Lloret Turisme, Girona City Council, Gran Casino Costa Brava, Hostal La Gavina, Hotel Aiguablava, Hotel Spa Terraza, Mas de Torrent and the Patronat itself, met with Russian tour operators and travel agents.

The event ended with a gastronomic dinner in Moscow entitled The Catalan Tourism Night, prepared by the Àbac restaurant. It was attended by over 100 guests, including Catalan authorities who had travelled to the Forum and local authorities from Moscow.
