Participation in a specific golf workshop in Helsinki and a generic workshop targeting the British market, in London.
On 12 and 13 June, the Tourist Board’s Golf Marketing Club, accompanied by six member companies – Hotel Peralada Wine Spa & Golf, Torremirona Golf Club, Empordà Golf, PGA Catalunya Resort, Golf Platja de Pals and Golf d’Aro –, took part in the Catalonia Golf Travel Network Cruise 2019, a specific golf-centred workshop organised by the Catalan Tourist Board in Helsinki and Tallinn. During the two days, the destination was presented to more than 50 travel agents, tour operators and journalists interested in the province of Girona’s golf offering. On 17 June, the Tourist Board took part in the City Fair London workshop, organised by the European Tour Operators Association. With its participation in this event, targeting the international market, the goal was to promote, position and project the image of the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees among British tour operators and also to make new sales contacts. During the workshop, Tourist Board specialists held 27 meetings with international tour operators.
