Meetings with international tour operators and active participation at the WTM and ILTM World Tour fairs.
From 9 to 11 November, World Travel Market London, one of the most important fairs in the tourism sector at an international level, was held virtually for the first time, and the Tourist Board participated in it within the Catalonia area. In this unusual year, conferences relating to pressing concerns such as sustainability, accessible tourism and trends for 2021 were attended. In the course of the event, various meetings were also held with tour operators - Jet2holidays, Inntravel, Holidays Gems -, specialised agencies, the media, and content creators, among other groups, in order to promote the destination and make contact with new international collaborators.
Subsequently, from 17 to 19 and 23 to 25 November, the first virtual edition of the ILTM World Tour took place, during which the Unique Premium marketing club showcased the latest high-end tourism offerings of the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees. Within the framework of the fair, meetings were held with about thirty representatives from European and Asian luxury travel operators and agencies, and several conferences on the evolution of the luxury sector's tourism markets in different continents were attended.
