Participation is planned in 10 generic and 25 themed tourism trade fairs in 2023.
In 2023 the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees’ tourist products and services will be publicised at 45 regional, national and international tourism trade fairs with the aim of promoting them in the main source markets for tourism to Girona’s destinations and, at the same time, maintaining contact and relationships with professionals in the intermediary sector, travel portals, media and end users.
The Tourist Board plans to take part in 10 generic tourism fairs, six of these from the Catalonia promotional space (CMT, FITUR, Holiday World, ITB, B-Travel and WTM) and four with its own stand (Vakantiebeurs, Navartur, Mercat del Ram and Expovacaciones). It will also attend 25 specialised international fairs with its own stand (Fòrum Gastronòmic, Synergy, FINE, Vinomed, Salon de la Plongée, Les Nautiques, IBTM, IMEX, Copenhagen Bike Show, World Football Summit, IGATO, IGTM, Fira Gran, Seatrade, MYBA and Monaco Yacht Show, among others) to promote products such as water sports, wine and gastronomy, wellness, golf, active tourism, business tourism, etc.
In January, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board participated in five tourism fairs held in different European locations: Vakantiebeurs Utrecht (The Netherlands), CMT Stuttgart and Boot Düsseldorf (Germany), FITUR in Madrid, and Holiday World Show in Dublin (Ireland).
