Eighty-seven Girona businesses were visited to reinforce relations and stimulate public-private collaborations.
During the first half of 2014, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board completed 87 visits to Girona businesses and business people involved in tourism with the objective of raising awareness regarding the Board’s services while cultivating relations and encouraging public-private ventures.
As result of these private sector visits, 18 companies joined the Tourist Board's product clubs, notably the DO Empordà Wine Route club and the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau.
The visits concentrated principally on tourist accommodations such as hotels, rural houses and tourist lodgings, as well as on caterers, restaurants and activity providers.
