The Tourist Board takes an active part in two online cruise ship and golf trade fairs.
The Seatrade Cruise show was held online for the first time on 5th - 8th October, with the Costa Brava Cruise Ports participating from the Ports of Catalonia stand. The association succeeded in creating synergies and establishing business contacts with over 300 agents in the sector through networking, and also attended various lectures on the state of the industry. At this difficult time for the cruise ship sector, Costa Brava Cruise Ports continued its efforts to support it by taking advantage of the event to hold meetings with various luxury segment companies, including Seadreams, Ritz-Carlton and Marella Cruises, with the aim of generating new intakes for the Costa Brava destination once cruise ship activity resumes.
In addition, the first online edition of the IGTM took place on 20th - 22nd October. The Golf Marketing Club participated in conjunction with several companies from the sector: Torremirona Golf & Spa Resort, Peralada Resort, Golf de Pals - La Costa Beach & Golf Resort, Empordà Golf Resort, Club Golf d’Aro - Mas Nou, PGA Catalunya Resort, Park Hotel San Jorge and Costa Brava Golf Breaks. During the event, meetings were held with the main golf operators and specialist press. Different webinars were organised to showcase destinations and the Costa Brava participated by showing a new promotional video with inspirational content proposing five reasons to visit the region.
