Fairs

The Board's promotional and marketing activities kicked off with participation in three specialised fairs focused on professionals.


SEPTEMBER 2024

On 11 and 12 September, the city of Malaga hosted the Seatrade Cruise Med 2024 fair and congress, attended by two thousand cruise professionals from 80 countries, and the participation of the Costa Brava Cruise Ports brand. During the event, the representatives from Girona promoted the ports of Palamós and Roses as reference points in the Mediterranean, met with shipping companies potentially interested in calling at the two ports, such as Star Clippers, Ritz Carlon, Seadreams and Marella, and spoke with representatives of established customers to inform them of the latest tourist options available at the Costa Brava. As part of this activity, the Board presented the Costa Brava Cruise Ports brand's new official portal, http://costabravacruiseports.com, together with the latest novelties in wine, gourmet eating and other tourist activities offered by the destination for the 2025 season to some fifty tourism professionals.

Subsequently, on 26 and 27 September, through the Health and Wellness marketing club, the Tourist Board took part for the first time in the Termatalia fair held in Orense, Galicia. It attended with its own modular stand, jointly with the partner companies Balneari Vichy Catalan, Aqva Banys Romans and Edgar Tarrés. The fair also featured a congress on the therapeutic uses of water, and workshops and talks on the subject of wellness tourism. The event organised a workshop with specialised European travel agencies.
