Anniversaries

The year 2025 promises to be full of anniversaries, commemorations and celebrations of cultural interest on the Costa Brava and in the Girona Pyrenees.

Many anniversaries and commemorations will continue or begin in 2025, thus becoming an attraction and a pretext for visitors who wish to get to know a town or village, take part in a cultural event, discover the work of an artist or thoroughly enjoy the programme of a festival in Girona.

The 2025 calendar includes celebrations like:

• Centennial of the Marimurtra Botanical Garden (until May 2025)
• 75th anniversary of the film Pandora and the Flying Dutchman, starring Ava Gardner, in Tossa de Mar
• 50th anniversary of the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres (until May 2025)
• 40th anniversary of the Isaac Albéniz Festival
• 25th anniversary of the de Cap Roig Festival
• 25th anniversary of the Sant Pere de Rodes Music Festival
• Olot, Sardana capital 2025
