The annual campaign is focused particularly on spring and autumn.
The "Live twice in the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees" advertising campaign, sponsored by the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, resumes with a new media plan and increased presence in both nearby (Catalonia, Spain and France) and international markets (United Kingdom, Benelux and Germany) starting in spring and continuing until the end of 2025.
As the key innovation in presenting the destination, the campaign is being rolled out across multiple formats using Amazon’s virtual assistant Alexa in the UK and FireTV in France. Additionally, advertising activations have been scheduled for mobile outdoor spaces including trams in Amsterdam and urban buses in Brussels, as well as on interfaces at the London stations of London Bridge, Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus, Waterloo, King’s Cross, Bank and Tottenham Court Road. Also of note are the advertising partnerships with National Geographic, in the UK and Centurion, in France, along with the radio campaign on Sud Radio in France. Nationally, the campaign is being showcased via digital screens located in food markets across Madrid, Valencia, Bilbao, Seville and Málaga.
In broad terms, the advertising strategy focuses primarily on digital marketing, with particular emphasis on digital platforms and social media channels that enables expanded reach and targeted segmentation by both products and audiences.
Regarding the campaign targeting online travel agencies (OTAs), travel portals Lastminute in the UK and France and Logitravel in Spain and France are responsible for distributing the digital advertising content and materials.
Regarding the co-marketing strategy with tour operators, the campaign focuses on the British, German, Eastern European and Spanish markets through partnerships with Jet2holidays, DER Touristik, Annex Tour and Viajes El Corte Inglés.
The goal of the advertising and co-marketing campaigns is to disseminate the campaign "Live twice in the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees" and attract visitors to destinations in the province of Girona for the 2025 season, specifically targeting shoulder and off-peak periods.
