Participation in four international tourism exhibitions in Central Europe and Israel.
February was a very busy month in terms of promoting both generic holiday options and specialist holiday products in the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees at international trade shows.
The IMTM in Tel Aviv on February 7th and 8th, was the perfect place for specifically promoting the holiday options available in the Girona Pyrenees among Israeli tour operators and the public. At the Salon des Vacances trade show in Brussels, from February 3rd to 5th, promotion revolved around publicizing the destination’s generic holiday options among Belgian professionals and members of the public. On 11th and 12th February we took part in the Fiets en Wandelbeurs trade show in Utrecht, where the aim was to promote active tourism and walking holidays throughout Girona; during the event, products such as Pirinexus, the coastal path network and the greenways proved to be particularly appealing to visitors.
Lastly, the Danish Travel Show, which we attended for the first time at the end of February, gave the Golf Marketing Club and the exhibiting companies the chance to show the Scandinavian public the destination’s range of golfing holidays and resorts.
