The Patronat de Turisme wins an award for its promotional and dissemination strategy in social networks.

The Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona has won a Territory & Marketing award, in the category of online marketing. The awards are held by the communication and strategic marketing companies Edecom and Más Cuota with the support of several sponsors from all over Spain.

The awards ceremony took place on 18th October at the Catalonia Conference Centre in Barcelona and was attended by political, cultural and tourism representatives of autonomous communities, local councils and organisations associated with territories of Spain.

The jury of the Territory & Marketing awards has recognised the work carried out over the last year by the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona in terms of online promotion and dissemination through the organisation of the TBEX EU Costa Brava world blogger conference, blogtrips and promotional campaigns in social networks. The Patronat has been chosen ahead of Spanish tourism destinations such as Gijón and Elche which were also on the shortlist for the award.

The Territory & Marketing awards recognise and reward the best territorial marketing strategies implemented with the goal of generating value for citizens and visitors alike.

Other award categories included communication campaigns; events, conferences and business; urban development; territorial brand; services; sustainability and technology.
