Cooperation with international cultural festivals

Cultural events such as the Circus Festival in Figueres and the Black Music Festival in Girona and Salt are supported by the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona because they are cultural activities which raise the destination's international profile and help boost tourism and the local economy outside high season. These cultural and social events add value to the Costa Brava destination and enhance the area's attractions for tourists. A concert was organised in Perpignan to present the Black Music Festival held in Girona and Salt from 1 to 22 March, at which the Patronat de Turisme ran a stand promoting the province of Girona's attractions for tourists and the area's gastronomy.
