Four familiarisation trips bring 16 international tour operators and a leading blogger to Girona

In December representatives of travel wholesalers from the Russian Federation and China visited the Costa Brava destination to learn more about its facilities for health and well-being, and culture. During their visit they took part in a wide range of cultural visits, wine and gastronomy activities and visits to numerous tourist accommodation establishments. The market research trip to Lloret de Mar and Girona province by the owner of the company organising the TBEX Costa Brava Catalunya 2015 conference, and the visit of leading US blogger Gary Arndt, who is working on a project for a digital photography book dealing with the destination, were of special interest. Many entities and private companies operating in Girona province's tourism sector directly supported and participated in the familiarisation trips.
