The Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona has appointed Jaume Torramadé i Ribas as the new president of the organisation. The new president of the Patronat was unanimously chosen by the General Meeting, at the proposal of the Board of Directors, in a meeting held on 28th July in the Girona Provincial Council Chamber. Meanwhile, in July the Patronat has focused its efforts on 2.0 tourism initiatives, such as its participation in the first virtual tourism fair, the organisation of a visit by a leading American travel blogger and the publication of the results of the Costa Brava brand monitoring report. Other promotional initiatives have also been implemented in traditional media outlets, aimed at showcasing the values and tourism products of the destination. Support and collaboration initiatives have also been carried out.
The book serves as a dynamic, practical and updated guide to the natural, heritage, cultural and tourism attractions of the destination.
The Transpyr ® Adventure 2011 raises the international profile of the destination and is firmly establishing itself with the support of the Patronat de Turisme.
