The year has got off to a positive start for the Patronat de Turisme with the Costa Brava golf sector once again receiving prestigious awards. The Patronat has also participated in the Madrid International Tourism Fair, FITUR 2012, where it had a full schedule of professional and commercial meetings. Meanwhile, the campaign to promote the ski resorts of the Pirineu de Girona –Tour Fricandó neu– has got under way and the new Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona workshops platform has begun operating. Furthermore, a call for tenders has been announced to award the contract for the design and development of the new costabrava.org website.
The interviews and meetings held among professionals at FITUR Madrid 2012 have generated and boosted several collaboration and marketing initiatives to be developed over the course of the year.
The advertising campaign is aimed at promoting tourism in Girona's ski resorts and inland areas in February and March, specifically targeting the Catalan market through radio stations and TV channels –RAC105, 105TV and 8TV.Read more
