Coinciding with Navartur 2012, held in Pamplona, the Patronat de Turisme brings together travel agents and journalists from Navarre through a communication and networking initiative. February also sees the Patronat's participation in nine tourism fairs, mostly international, and the holding of the Spanish PCO conference in Girona, a great opportunity for promoting business tourism in the area among Spain's main travel influencers. Meanwhile, two tourism publications are unveiled and visits and presentations to local companies are organised to strengthen relations among professionals from the travel and tourism sector. As regards Tourism 2.0, new specific and practical training workshops in new technologies are announced for tourism sector professionals and the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona Web TV channel is launched.
