In June, the main promotional and commercial actions of the Year of Cycling on the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees organised in the territory took place, and new dissemination material was edited and published to contribute to promoting its qualities as a cycle tourism destination. Just before the start of the new high tourist season and as part of the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees Week in Madrid, travel agents and event organising companies were informed about the specific products of the destination. In Rimini (Italy) the wine gastronomy of the Girona province was promoted among the end public. Support was also given to numerous public and private initiatives that help to encourage and boost the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees brands.
The Year of Cycling on the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees culminates with two large festivals and with the Costa Brava Bike Days commercial activity.
