Workshop for Polish tour operators

Nine Polish tour operators make an exploratory visit to the Costa Brava and meet businesspeople from the Girona tourism sector to make contact and generate future business opportunities.

The Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona, together with the Spanish Tourism Office in Warsaw, organised a familiarisation trip for a group of nine Polish tour operators to the Costa Brava from 7^th to 11^th April with the aim of showing them the tourism offer of the Costa Brava.

On 7^th April, as part of this promotional action aimed at enabling Polish tour operators to explore the destination and make contact with professionals from the local tourism sector, the Patronat de Turisme held a workshop at Apartaments Nord 1901 in Girona that brought together the Polish tour operators of the companies Atur BP, Orlando Travel, Ecco Holiday, Triada, Katania Biuro Podrozy, Sopol and Travel Projekt, among others, and twelve Girona tourism companies, namely Viatges Bravasol, Apartaments Comte d’Empúries, Agència Corredor Mató, Apartaments Solineu, ATA, Samba Hotels, Viatges Dalsol, Sehrs Tourism, Hotel Ciutat de Girona, Agència Bravo Tourism, Apartaments La Fosca and La Vila de Castelló Rural Tourism.

As part of the familiarisation trip the Polish tour operators visited the city of Girona and the main towns of the Costa Brava: Roses, Empuriabrava, L’Estartit, Palamós, Platja d’Aro, Blanes and Lloret de Mar. The stay focused on cultural and active tourism activities, such as hiking along coastal footpaths, along with visits to various hotel establishments that could be of interest to them.
