Vívid Wine Festival

The Costa Brava becomes home to over a hundred wine tourism activities and promotions in April

Over a hundred new activities and promotions in the Alt Empordà and Baix Empordà will be celebrated in April as part of the Vívid Wine Festival, created by the Costa Brava Girona Tourist’s Board DO Empordà Wine Route Club to promote wine tourism in the Costa Brava. The programme of activities includes wine tasting, outdoor activities (including wine-related hikes and kayaking), gourmet meals, music and dance performances paired with wine, open days, fairs and wine therapy treatments as well as other activities designed for wine and tourism professionals. The opening ceremony and presentation of the Vívid Wine Festival 2015 programme was celebrated on 18 March at Sant Martí d’Empúries and the Hostal Empúries in L’Escala. The event was attended by roughly 70 people, mainly public and private operators along with the members of the DO Empordà Wine Route participating in the wine festival.
