New tourism products in Girona for the Catalan domestic market presented at SITC 2014 and the Palm Sunday Fair in Vic.

In the lead up to Easter, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board attended the International Tourism Show (SITC) in Barcelona and the Palm Sunday Fair in Vic to showcase to the Catalan public the Vivíd wine festival in l’Alt Empordà and el Baix Empordà; the new signature massages of Gerunda Fuga and the cultural, gastronomic and active tourism activities on offer in the Costa Brava and el Pirineu de Girona. From 4 to 6 April, the Tourist Board, on behalf of the Girona tourism sector and accompanied by Lloret Turisme, Turisme Rural de Girona, Monuments de Catalunya, the county councils of la Garrotxa, el Ripollès i l’Alt Empordà, and the municipality of la Vall d’en Bas, was at the Catalonia stand to promote and publicise the tourist attractions on offer in the Girona area to the public and professional attendees at the Show. Some twenty bodies involved in promoting tourism in the municipalities and counties of Girona province attended Vic’s Palm Sunday Market, held from 11 to 13 April, to offer information on wine and gastronomy routes and active and cultural tourism products.   PTCBG
