Tourism articles and reports in international media
The German channel DW-TV and the British newspaper The Western Daily feature La Garrotxa and the Costa Brava.

The Euromaxx television programme on the German channel Deutsche Welle TV was broadcast on 26th and 27th November 2009. This five-minute report was exclusively devoted to the tourism and gastronomic offer of the county of La Garrotxa. The report was broadcast in German (6.30 p.m., 12.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.) and in English (9.30 p.m., 3.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m.). The programme was the result of a joint initiative of the Patronat de Turisme and the Turisme Garrotxa Association, who organised a press trip for the programme producer to the Girona area in mid-October. Meanwhile, on 2nd January, the British newspaper The Western Daily Press, distributed in the southeast of England with a print run of 40,000, published a double spread in its travel section entitled Gorgeous Girona, which describes a 48-hour stay in the city of Girona and on the Costa Brava. The article, which contains practical information and recommendations for readers, was published following a press trip by the journalist Stephen White to the area from 18th to 20th December 2009, organised with the support of Girona City Council and the Patronat de Turisme.
