The discussion broadcast on the last Wednesday of each month on the Onda Rambla Girona radio station, on the occasion of the Centenary of the Costa Brava, focused on actions that link together the Costa Brava and nature.

MARCH 2014

The programme “La ciutat de tots Girona” (“Girona, everybody’s city”), hosted by Eduard Cid on the Onda Rambla Girona radio station devoted the programme on Wednesday 31st March to nature tourism. Specifically, the discussion was focused on coastal footpaths, greenways and athletics competitions, making the most of the fact that during the spring several events will take place that link the Costa Brava to nature: the Xtrem Running athletics race, the publication of the book Coastal Footpaths. Voyage along the Costa Brava, and the creation of the tourism product “The Centenary route”.

The Centenary of the Costa Brava has its own slot in the schedule of the Onda Rambla Girona radio station in the form of a monthly discussion that takes place on the last Wednesday of each month. The themes discussed to date include gastronomy, music and the music festivals that take place over the summer on the Costa Brava, glamour in films and the history of tourism on the Girona coast.

Through these discussions the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona aims to promote the Costa Brava tourism brand and, at the same time, to defend the values that have enabled it to become the first-rate tourist destination that it is today.
