Tez Tour Roadshow
620 Russian travel agents discover the tourism offering of the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees

The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board and Lloret Turisme collaborated with the Russian tour operator Tez Tour in organising a ten-day roadshow from 2nd to 11th April that visited eight cities in central and southern Russia.
A total of 620 travel agents from the Russian cities of Saint Petersburg, Krasnodar, Pyatigorsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Kazan, Nizhni Novgorod and Voronezh attended the presentations that showcased the tourism offering of the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees.
Together with the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board and Lloret Turisme, several tourist accommodation companies took part in the presentations, such as Rigat Park & Spa Hotel, Guitart Hotels, H·TOP Hotels and Samba Hotels, along with two ski and mountain resorts of the Girona Pyrenees, Vall de Núria and La Molina, run by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan Government Railways).
For this series of presentations, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, Lloret Turisme and Tez Tour published a specific 36-page holiday brochure devoted mainly to the Costa Brava to be distributed among those attending the events.
Tez Tour forecasts that it will achieve a 60% increase in the number of tourists visiting Catalonia in the 2013 season and estimates that it will bring 120,000 tourists to Catalonia and 40,000 to the Costa Brava.
