TBEX Europe Costa Brava 2012
More than one hundred and fifty international bloggers will take part in the world travel blogger conference to be held in Girona and on the Costa Brava.

The Patronat de Turisme announces that Girona and the Costa Brava have been chosen as the venue for the world travel blogger conference in Europe in September: TBEX EUROPE COSTA BRAVA 2012.
On 18th April, Jaume Torramadé, President of Girona Provincial Council and of the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona, and Rick Calvert, CEO and co-founder of BlogWorld & New Media Expo, an American company that is handling the organisation of the TBEX, (Travel Blog Exchange), signed an agreement through which this global event will be held in the Girona area.
The agreement was reached following an inspection trip to the Girona area by a delegation from the organising company of the TBEX, which was invited and accompanied by representatives of the Patronat de Turisme. The quality of Girona's conference infrastructures and the tourism offer of both the city and the destination as a whole were determining factors in the conference organisers' decision to host the event on the Costa Brava, along with the fact that the Costa Brava has become a leading destination for Internet-related promotional events.
On 21st and 22nd September, more than one hundred and fifty of the world's most influential bloggers, writers and creators of travel-related content in social networks will converge on Girona.
