Promotional event in Paris

With summer just around the corner Girona tourism steps up its promotional efforts in the French market

PSG football player Thiago Motta (former FC Barcelona player) and Girona Michelin-star chefs Fina Puigdevall and Javier Cabrera were ambassadors for Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees hotels, cuisine and tourism at a triple promotional and sales event that brought together 100 travel agents and 30 French travel and food journalists in Paris on 26 May. The event kicked off with a welcome lunch for a dozen French journalists, in collaboration with the Costa Brava Luxury Hotel Association, in order to present everything Costa Brava luxury hotels have to offer as well as the extensive range of unique and high-quality experiences available for French tourists in Girona. The activities continued in the afternoon with the presentation of business tourism in the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees at the offices of the company Carlson Wagonlit, aimed at ten professionals specialised in the product. Finally, the promotional event ended with the organisation of a workshop and presentation of the Girona destination, followed by a cocktail hour which brought together 27 Girona companies and organisations with French travel agents and travel press. PSG player Thiago Motta participated in this promotional event as the ambassador of the Costa Brava in Paris.
