Five press trips organised for media from Denmark, Norway, the United States, Canada and New Zealand in October brought 19 journalists to the destination to learn about the region’s culture, active tourism (hiking and cycling), the DO Empordà Wine Route and everything the destination has to offer as a whole. Meanwhile, nine fam trips were organised for 85 travel agents and tour operators from Europe, Mexico, Brazil and the United States that specialise in products like business tourism, luxury and culinary trips and golf, as well as tourism in general. The activities designed for influencers and content creators continued with the organisation of four blogtrips for twelve national and international bloggers. Girona’s tourism-related organisations and companies as well as range professionals participated in the trips.
