Promotion of Costa Brava Yacht Ports

The Girona ports and the Costa Brava have enhanced their bid to attract the superyacht nautical industry through a new partnership with Barcelona Clúster Nàutic, participation in the MYBA Charter Show and a visit from ship broker companies.

On April 20^th, to coincide with the start of the new superyacht season on the Catalan coast, the partnership between the Costa Brava Yacht Ports and Barcelona Clúster Nàutic was signed at the Club Nàutic Sant Feliu de Guíxols in order to join synergies and promote the province as a destination for superyacht tourism. In addition, from April 23^rd to 26^th, the Costa Brava Yacht Ports brand participated for the first time in the MYBA Charter Show, one of the European superyacht industry’s major professional trade shows, held in Barcelona’s Port Vell. The aim was to promote the destination, the quality services and the facilities for superyachts in the ports of Roses, L’Estartit, Palamós and Sant Feliu de Guíxols. As part of the trade show, a seminar entitled “Sailing on the Catalan coast” was organised for superyacht captains and the most influential brokers in the sector, in which the Costa Brava was presented as a complement to the route to the Balearic Islands. Lastly, eleven broker companies in the sector, including Burgess, Fraser and Camper & Nicholsons, took part in a fam trip of the Costa Brava.
