Promotion at trade fairs

Participation in two national trade fairs and six international fairs in Central Europe and the United States

The Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees’s generic tourist attractions, along with its specific products – golf, campsites and cruises – were promoted at the most important international trade fairs in March: ITB in Berlin, Germany; Golf Fair Helsinki in Sweden; Seatrade Cruise Shipping in Miami, the United States; MITT in Moscow, Russia; Salon du Tourisme in Paris, France, and Tür in Gothenburg, Sweden. Promotional activities were also carried out at a national level at the Sevatur trade fair in San Sebastián and at Girocàmpings in Girona. The Tourist Board’s attendance at these fairs resulted in new contacts with tour operators, travel portals, airlines and cruise ships as well as the media and the public in general.
