Thirty-two journalists from France, Italy, Belgium, Holland, the Czech Republic and several regions of Spain visit the destination in eight press trips.

In September the Patronat de Turisme organised eight press trips to the destination for thirty-two journalists from France, Italy, Belgium, Holland, the Czech Republic and several regions of Spain.
The journalists visited the destination to discover its extensive tourism offer and to publish articles and features on a variety of topics, including golf, health and wellness, culture and active tourism. One of the highlights was the visit by the makers of the Italian television programme Alle falde del Kilimangiaro, a production for the Rai Tre channel, who filmed images for a tourism and travel series focusing on Catalan cuisine. During their visit to the Costa Brava, the programme makers filmed in the cities of Girona and Figueres, the towns of Olot and Pals, and at the Espai del Peix gastronomic facility in Palamós fish market, among others.
Meanwhile, two press trips were organised for nine international golf journalists from well known media outlets such as Style Golf and Golf International, who visited the Girona area to look at golf course facilities and services in the destination.
The Patronat de Turisme has organised these promotional initiatives aimed at national and international media outlets with the support and collaboration of tourism organisations and companies from the Girona area, in particular the inland counties.
