During 2013 the official tourist portal for the Costa Brava and the Pirineu de Girona brands, managed by the Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board, received 1,387,188 visitors who viewed a total of 4,755,514 pages.
Most of the visitors came to the site via search engines (53.5%), followed by direct visits (25.72%) and via reference sites (20.31%). The average visit lasted 3 minutes and 2 seconds and took in 3.43 pages. Most of the visitors were Spanish, followed by French, British and German users.
The Tourism Board has six profiles on social networks, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Instagram, Youtube and Issuu, where it publishes attractive content and communicates effectively and directly with potential visitors to the destination.
