The five ski resorts in the Girona Pyrenees have improved facilities and services for the 2015-2016 tourist season.

estacions-esqui-walter2000 Girona ski resorts offer over 200 km of slopes, first class facilities and equipment. La Molina and Masella ski resorts start the new season on  November 24. Latest important news: La Molina (61 slopes and 67 skiable kilometres):

  • First technological slalom in the Pyrenees. A new installation located on the Trampolí slope that will make skiers feel like professional racers as their descent is recorded by a system of cameras located along the route.
  • New slope for beginners and sledges on Pista Llarga and Pista Coll Sisé, which will join Pista Quatre Camins and Pista Llarga.
  • Snake-Gliss, articulated train of sleighs for up to 12 people.
Masella (65 slopes and 74 skiable kilometres):
  •  3rd season of "Masella night skiing" with illumination on 13 slopes and 10 km for the most intrepid skiers.
  • Snow cannons on Pista Isards-Coma Oriola to ensure snow cover.
Remember that La Molina and Masella resorts are connected to form one of the largest ski resorts in the Pyrenees, offering skiers a total of 126 km ski slopes and 141 skiable kilometres when using the combined La Molina + Masella pass. Vall de Núria (11 slopes and 7.5 skiable kilometres). The station also carried out improvements to the locker service, increased snow activities in the leisure park (Tubby Cross, snow scooters ...) and other services designed to provide maximum fun and comfort to visitors to the mountains. Vallter2000 (13 slopes and 19 skiable kilometres): Improvements to the resort focus on access, lifts and slopes, and generally a range of activities that combine skiing and mountains. The Guils Fontanera station is the only Nordic ski resort in the Girona Pyrenees, with 19 ski routes and 45 skiable kilometres when fully operational. It also has three snowshoeing circuits and a skating rink. This season, the station has made improvements to the slopes and the Fontanera shelter and renewed rental equipment. The previous season, 2014-2015, was one of the longest ski seasons in the Girona Pyrenees in recent years, with five months of activity and 757,858 skiers. The season was described as satisfactory.
