Launch of the online restaurant booking service
An online restaurant booking service is set to be launched on the portal of the Costa Brava and the Pirineu de Girona.

This third online booking service will operate from September on the portal of the tourism offer of the Costa Brava and the Pirineu de Girona, joining the hotel and tourist apartment booking engines that were launched by the Patronat in February and April respectively.
The Patronat has chosen the Restalo company to provide this new online restaurant booking service. The booking service will initially include 6,300 restaurants located in Spain and in European cities. As in the case of the other booking engines, it provides local businesspeople with an additional channel for marketing their tourism products and services. Restalo’s booking handling system enables restaurants to control all of their reservations, table availability, opening hours, special offers and customers, etc.
The Patronat de Turisme will also incorporate a booking service for other types of accommodation within the portal, as well as a booking engine for activities, thus broadening its services targeted at individual tourists and enabling the full range of tourism products and services to be marketed through the portal.
