Guidebook: Coastal footpaths. Crossing the Costa Brava

The publication proposes a 250 km route from Blanes to Argelès-sur-Mer along the coastal footpaths of the Costa Brava and along the GR-92 long-distance path.

MARCH 2014

The city of Barcelona was the chosen venue for presenting the book Coastal footpaths. Crossing the Costa Brava. The publication aims to highlight the discovery of one of the world’s most important tourism brands as a top destination for hiking while enjoying some of the Mediterranean’s best scenery. The idea of a 250 kilometre trail along the coastline is simply a vehicle for showcasing an area that offers an extraordinary variety of landscape and ecosystems.

The event took place in the Cotxeres room of the Palau Robert in Barcelona and was attended by Enric Vilert, President of Girona Provincial Council and of the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona, Jordi Mercader, President of Agbar, Jordi Puig, author of the photographs in the guidebook, and Jordi Sargatal, a nature expert.

The publication has been promoted by the Patronat de Tursime Costa Brava Girona and Triangle Postals SA, with the collaboration of the Agbar and Sorea Foundation. It is available in five languages: Catalan, Spanish, English, French and German.
