The Girona campsite sector is boosted at the Girocàmping 2013 fair

In March the city of Girona will host Girocàmping 2013, one of the most important campsite fairs that will take place in southern Europe, and unique in Catalonia and Spain in terms of its characteristics.
The first Girocàmping fair enjoys the support of the Government of Catalonia, Girona Provincial Council, the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona and Girona City Council, and comes into being as a specialised sector fair for which great expectations are held thanks to the in-depth work and effort put into devising, planning and publicising the event by its organisers.
The Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona and the Girona Campsite Association have been working together on promotional and dissemination activities for years through a collaboration agreement. This agreement has generated a series of promotional, marketing and communication initiatives, such as advertising campaigns in written and digital European media; positioning campaigns for the website and booking engine; the annual publication of the Guide to Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona Campsites; the organisation of press trips and participation in the main specialised fairs of the sector in European cities such as Düsseldorf, Utrecht, Stuttgart, Ambers and Brussels. The two organisations cooperate closely by making the most of synergies and joining forces for promotional work.
The Patronat de Turisme will have its own space at Girocàmping 2013, where it will show visitors the charms and attractions of the entire area, since this is a sector with great potential and room for growth.
