Promotion of Girona’s oenogastronomy at the "Girona Gastronomic Forum" and "Fira Orígens" in Olot

fires-gastronomiques-origens With the aim of promoting gastronomy and oenology from Girona from a tourism perspective, the Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board participated in two thematic showcases for agricultural products and catering from Girona: Girona Gastronomic Forum and the Fira Orígens in Olot. From November 17 to 19, the Council of Girona, the Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board and Dipsalut took part in the Girona Gastronomic Forum, presenting the new Food & Wine Club, the Girona Excellent rice space, the presence of wines from the DO Empordà wine Route and the organization of an international press trip. Subsequently, on November 21 and 22 in Olot, the fourth edition of the Fira Orígens took place. It was promoted by the Municipal Institute for the Promotion of Olot and the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board attended to promote the Girona Excel·lent products. During the Fair there were tasting sessions of the DO Empordà wines that are part of Girona Excel·lent, as well as of rice from Pals, anchovies from L’Escala and Foie Gras.
