Six familiarisation trips bring almost one hundred international tour operators to the destination

98 representatives from wholesale and retail travel agencies and event organisers from Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Russia, France, Scandinavia and China visited the destination in November to find out about the options for tourism focusing on health and wellbeing, meetings, conferences and incentives, and sports. During their visit they took part in a wide range of complementary activities and visits to accommodation and catering establishments. Many entities and private companies operating in Girona province's tourism sector directly supported and participated in the familiarisation trips.
