Familiarisation trips
Seventeen travel agents from Ireland, the Benelux countries and from the American Airlines company visit the destination with a view to including it in their travel brochures.

The Patronat de Turisme welcomed seventeen travel agents in April who visited the destination in three separate familiarisation trips.
From 22nd to 25th April, five Irish travel agents invited by the Patronat de Turisme visited the Girona area to sample a taste of its tourism offer. During their stay they visited Girona, L’Estartit, Roses, Peralada and other coastal towns, as well as looking at tourist accommodation. The trip ended with a workshop on the Costa Brava destination in which fifteen companies from the Girona area took part, mostly from the accommodation and activities sectors.
