E-book on the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona

The first e-book to promote the destination to tourists has been published.

The interactive publication Descubriendo la Costa Brava y el Pirineo de Girona is the first e-book published in Spanish to promote the tourist destination. It is available for iPad tablets and Mac computers with the OSX Mavericks operating system, and an English version will soon be available. The book contains 175 pages, over 400 photographs and 37 multimedia files, including videos and audiophotos. It can be downloaded free of charge at 51 iBookstore shops and on-line from Apple’s global iTunes store. Descubriendo la Costa Brava y el Pirineo de Girona is published by QTRAVEL with the support of Girona Provincial Council’s Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, and is designed to be tool for providing visitors with information and promoting the destination. This digital publication combines multimedia functions with a traditional magazine layout, and demonstrates the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board’s firm commitment to innovation and the use of new information technologies in the tourism sector.
