Girona, Temps de Flors and the gastronomic menu “Remembering Dalí” are promoted in Madrid this spring

Continuing with the programme of actions aimed at providing support for Girona's tourism sector and destinations, on 24th April, and for the first time, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board and Girona City Council presented the Girona, Temps de Flors (flower season) festival at the Westin Palace Hotel in Madrid at a special event attended by over 50 journalists from Spanish mainstream and specialised tourism and culture media outlets.

Following the festival presentation event, the Tourist Board and the Cuina de l'Empordanet gastronomic association unveiled a gastronomic campaign entitled "Remembering Dalí" at a presentation attended by the directors of several Spanish media outlets. This specific menu, prepared by the chefs Marc Gascons, Vicenç Fajardo, Jordi Garrido and Quim Casellas, is composed of dishes inspired by the work of the famous artist from Empordà. The menu will be offered from 23rd April at the Palace Hotel restaurant, coinciding with the exhibition of 200 of Salvador Dalí's works at the Queen Sofia National Art Centre, running from 27th April to 2nd September.
