Costa Brava food and beer matching menu

The cuisine collectives of the Costa Brava participate actively in this new promotional gastronomy project.

On the occasion of the Centenary of the Costa Brava, the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona is making a media presentation of the project for a Costa Brava beer and food matching menu, with the active participation of the cuisine collectives of the Costa Brava brand and the San Miguel beer company.

The Aula Gastronòmica de l’Empordà is the chosen venue in early December for the presentation of the matching menu, to be implemented in 2010. At the presentation a dish will be prepared using local produce and beer. This event also serves as a public announcement of the incorporation of San Miguel as a sponsor of the Centenary of the Costa Brava. The company’s involvement and support of the gastronomy of the Costa Brava is clear to see in this project.

With this project and the incorporation of San Miguel as a Centenary sponsor, the Patronat de Turisme is increasing the number of activities aimed at boosting and raising the international profile of the richness and quality of Girona’s cuisine. www.costabrava100.org
