Costa Brava Cruise Ports

The Costa Brava’s ports are marketed and promoted in the United States and Cartagena.

FEBRUARY 2015

IMG-20150114-WA0008 In mid-January, representatives from Ports de la Generalitat and Costa Brava Cruise Ports travelled to the east coast of the United States to meet with five shipping companies –Crystal Cruises, Princess Cruises, Seabourn, Holland America and Windstar Cruises– in order to follow up with the companies already operating in the ports of Girona and attract new ones. The marketing efforts were a success and the incorporation of new ports is scheduled for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. The Costa Brava Cruise Ports brand later presented the ports of Palamós and Roses and their tourist destinations to the international cruise industry at the “Winter Cruising Forum” celebrated in Cartagena, Múrcia on 21 and 22 January 2015. Costa Brava Cruise Ports participated in this forum in order to continue strengthening the position of Palamós and Roses as cruise ports, build loyalty in existing partners and meet new ones, and increase awareness of the Costa Brava as a year-round destination for cruise tourists.
