International travel bloggers visit the Costa Brava as part of a trip to Catalonia

The Catalan Tourism Agency, with the support of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, organised a blogging trip entitled #Catalunyaexperience from 23rd to 30th September. The nine bloggers, from the USA, the UK, Canada, Holland, Ireland and Italy spent the 26th and 27th in the Girona area. The group visited the restaurant El Celler de Can Roca, the exhibition El somni (The Dream) and the city of Girona. They also travelled various stretches of the coastal footpaths in Baix Empordà and enjoyed a boat trip along the Costa Brava.
Three of the most well-known bloggers in the group were Marcello Arrambide of @WanderingTradr, with over 42,500 followers on Twitter; Elica Sue, who runs the @wildjunket website, with 31,900 followers; and Laurel Robbins, of @Laurel_Robbins, with 30,000 followers.
