Carnival Photography Competition

Competition on social networks for the best Carnival photographs in the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona.

The first competition for the best Carnival photographs in the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona is being held on the destinations' Facebook,Twitter and Instagram pages from 24 February to 24 March. Users can share their photographs of the carnival activities taking place in the towns and cities of Girona province on the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona facebook page, and/or add the @costabrava and #CarnavalCostaBrava tags to photographs shared on the destination's Twitter or Instagram pages. Participants can upload as many photographs as they like while the competition remains open. The winners will be announced after 25 March via the social networks, with over 60 prizes to be distributed, including accommodation, meals and activities offered by tourism promotion entities and companies in Girona province. The aim of the competition is to publicise this holiday event, generate content on social networks, encourage users to participate, increase the number of followers of the destination's social network sites and raise the profile of the entities and companies taking part in the campaign by providing links to their profiles on social networks.
